
What is Fin5?
Fin5 Orienteering Week is an annually organized orienteering event with 5 event days. It is a combination of sports and holiday. The participants consists of both elite, world class runners as well as developing juniors and those who want to orienteer just because it's so exciting and fun. The week offers also a perfect possibility to families to enjoy their holiday and the Finnish summer around thousands of lakes.
Fin5 Orienteering Week 2010 will take place in Imatra-Ruokolahti region, in south-east of Finland. The region is in the heart of South-Carelian nature and culture. Large forest areas, numerous lakes, Lake saimaa being the largest one, River Vuoksi with Imatrankoski Rapids and friendly people make the atmosphere warm and cosy.

Event Centre
The Event Centre will be located just very close to the centre of Imatra. The Info will be in the school Mansikkala beside the river Vuoksi. There will be bus transport from EC to Competition Centre. The location of the Event Centre You can find here

Competition Centre
The Competition Centre will be built in the northern part of Ruokolahti, in the village of Jukajärvi, about 50 km from the EC. The CC will will be in the same place during the whole week. All activities in CC are centralized to a small area on top of a hill near the clean Lake Jukajärvi. The distances are short, e.g. from car parking to finish area no more than 500 meters.
